Eventra Bespoke — Switzerland & Austria
Geneva on the lake. Zurich’s quiet precision. Zermatt with the Matterhorn above it. St Moritz in both seasons. Switzerland operates at a level of landscape and hospitality that requires no justification — only the right people to show you the parts that matter.
The Alpine Standard
Switzerland is not a country that needs to be sold. Its credentials — the Alps, the lakes, the watches, the hospitality — are simply understood. What requires understanding is which Switzerland you are visiting. Geneva and Lausanne on Lake Geneva, with their international pedigree and lakeside grandeur. Zurich, understated and wealthy, with a restaurant and arts scene that surprises every first-time visitor. The mountain resorts — Zermatt, St Moritz, Verbier, Gstaad — each with its own character and season.
Eventra designs Switzerland for clients who want the version of the country that is not visible from the train. Private access to watchmaking ateliers in the Vallee de Joux. A week in a private chalet above Gstaad. Helicopter transfers between Geneva and Zermatt. The Switzerland that exists just beyond the standard itinerary.
Geneva & Lake Geneva
Geneva has a quality that no other city quite replicates: a small city with an outsized sense of its own importance, and largely justified in that sense. The Jet d’Eau. The old town. The Cologny shoreline on a clear morning with Mont Blanc visible above the waterline. The watch ateliers of the Vallée de Joux, where the most complicated movements in the world are still assembled by hand.
Eventra arranges private visits to watchmaking manufactures that are not open to the public, lakeside dining at addresses known only to Geneva regulars, and the most considered hotel introductions on the lake — from the Bâur au Lac to the private villas of the Lavaux wine country above Lausanne.
The Alpine Resorts
Zermatt is Switzerland’s most iconic resort — car-free, dominated by the Matterhorn, and home to some of the finest ski terrain on the continent. In summer it becomes a hiking and climbing destination with the same grandeur at a fraction of the crowds. St Moritz operates differently: a social season, a lake, an altitude, and a reputation that has attracted European aristocracy and the global wealthy for over a century.
Verbier for serious skiing and serious parties. Gstaad for those who prefer the private chalet to the hotel. The Bernese Oberland — Grindelwald, Wengen, Mürren — for the Jungfrau region at its most dramatic. Eventra designs Alpine itineraries that account for the season, the reason and the level of experience that each resort demands.
Eventra Bespoke
A private chalet above Gstaad. A helicopter transfer to Zermatt. A watchmaker in the Vallée de Joux who does not take walk-ins. Eventra opens the Switzerland that exists behind the standard experience.
